She followed him silently to the pantry and took the cookie box from him to open it and pull a few out. They were mini-cookies, about half the size of a regular one, and so she could just pop them in her mouth easily. "Is Bitchany gone?" she whispered.

Lue laughed at Amma's nickname for Tori, wondering where she came up with that. He nodded and grabbed a handful of cookies for himself before putting the box away. He popped on in his mouth and headed for the stairs. "You said you were tired?" He said with a slight frown.

"I am tired," she said. "Just a little hungry too." She looked at the kitchen counter. The taco stuff was still there, but a great amount of it was gone. Some real plates were stacked up in the sink with leftover bits of meat and lettuce. "Hm. Looks like someone else ate some tacos. Should we clean it up before we go?"

Lue gave her a weird glance and shrugged, "Um, sure..." He said and walked back over to the kitchen, crunching on the last of his cookies before he arrived. "Uh...." He said looking around at where to start. "I'll start putting everything away if you want to clean off the dishes in the sink." He suggested.

She cleaned off the dishes and put them into the dishwasher. She leaned against the refrigerator for a moment and found herself nodding off. She shook her head to wake her up. She'd been up for a very long time. "Lue, I'm sorry... I have to go to bed. Good night, and thank you for your hospitality." She walked over to him and kissed him gently on the cheek before sluggishly making her way up the stairs. She headed for the room given to her. The books were still on the bed, in the same place they'd been thrown into. She moved them gently off the bed and onto a table in the room and yawned as she kicked her shoes off and rolled into the bed. She fell asleep instantly.

Lue smiled and watched her disappear up the stairs. He never realize how lonely he was until she left, leaving him to finish up the rest. He really debated about just leaving what was left out until morning but put it away anyways. When he finished he flicked off the light and made his way up the stairs to his own room. He too felt quite exhausted... He opened his door and found Rasi sitting in front of the tv, controller in hand.
"Hey Luie!" he said pausing the game and looking over at him with a grin that made Lue uneasy. "Sooooooo, how was it?" He asked, turning his body around so that he could face him.
Lue fell onto his bed and buried his head into his pillow, "We went to the park, that's it." He muttered through the pillow.
Rasi got up and shook his head, "You know as well as I do, little brother, that the park isn't a five hour long walk." He said 'a matter of fact'ly. Lue groaned and turned away from him. Rasi laughed at his reaction, "So?" He said nudging him hard in the back.
Lue just groaned again, "Go away, it's none of your buisness." He said, his voice still muted by the pillow. Rasi jabbed him in the back again with his elbow. Lue sat up with a scowl, "Its not like I ask you what you and Tori do!" He said and shoved Rasi off the bed.
Rasi got up and laughed again, "Want me to tell you?" He smirked, "Cause I'm sure it'll help you later when you get tired of just kissin' girls." He said and walked over to his own bed, turning off the tv as he passed by it. "That is if you have kissed a girl yet." He chuckled again.
Lue threw his pillow at him and growled, "Shut up Rasi!" he said in a loud whisper.
Rasi just laughed again and tossed him back his pillow, "G'night then... I'll save my bedtime stories for some other night." He said and slipped under the covers.
Lue grumbled something under his breath, grabbed his pillow, and laid back down. It took him a while to fall asleep though but when he finally did he went out cold.

(( All the scenes with Rasi seriously depress me....)) Amma woke at five, just as the rays of the sun began to creep out over the horizon and filter into her room. Though only having six hours of sleep, she felt more than rejuvenated. After all, she, as well as all the other hybrids in her 'generation' and after required little more than five and a half hours of sleep to fully function properly. Amma always wondered if that would seriously be unhealthy in the end. Their brains worked so fast in the first place, that it must work extra hard to recharge itself at night. For all anybody knew, by the time any of them turned thirty, their brains would finally burn out and they'd die. While the lack of that knowledge frightened and somewhat irked her -- she hated not being in the know about anything -- she tried not to think about it so much. If she had only so much time, then she had to read and study that much more. She read through the entirety of the smaller of the two books within twenty minutes and put the one-hundred-seventy-eight-page book aside to make way for the larger, four-hundred-thirty-three pager, which she took downstairs with her to sit on the couch and read. She was nearly finished when the green numbers on the oven told her it was almost seven thirty. She made herself put the thing down so she could get herself something to eat. She quietly poured a bowl of cereal and ate it without any rush at all. I wonder what time Lue gets up, she thought briefly as she finished, and then decided to, as she put away the dishes, cereal and milk, that she'd sneak a peek into his room. She tiptoed back upstairs and carefully, carefully, turned the knob on the door. She opened it just a crack and peered inside. Unfortunately, the door creaked a little bit when she opened it even that small bit. She winced.

Lue was in a state between sleeping and waking up. He was fully aware of the light coming through the window and his pillow on the floor. The sheets under him instead of on top of him was also bothersome but he was too lazy to situate himself around. He was never one for waking up early and since he didn't get any sleep last night he would probably try to sleep the day away until someone woke him up. He hear the fan rotating above him. Each rotation made a creaking sound that was loud enough for him to hear but quiet enough for him to ignore easily. He started counting the sounds, finding it easier to relax when he was concentrating on something....
One hundred sixty-two, one hundred sixty-three, one hundred sixty-four.... He counted in his head. Suddenly something else creaked other than the fan; this was a louder creak and it wasn't coming from Rasi. Its probably Sarah making sure we didn't kill each other last night... Lue though rolling over and groaning. Or she wants me to make breakfast for Amma... He suggested to himself. That would probably be a good idea except for the fact that all he could make for her would be poptarts and cereal. He started wondering if she was up. He would feel bad if he left her all alone with his family. Na, she's probably sleeping too... He though and yawned, stretching a little before getting comfortable.

Amma noticed Lue moving in his bed, and figured he must be waking up. She slipped inside and closed the door, then went at a kind of half-jog to his bed so she could dive right next to him and whisper, "Boo!" But she ended up landing on him and falling off the bed, with a loud "Ooof!!" and then a thump.

Lue wasn't expecting to be tackled. He quickly rolled away when he felt something fall on top of him and heard it fall to the floor. At first he thought it was Rasi and opened his mouth to yell at him but stopped when he looked over the edge of the bed and saw Amma sprawled out on the floor near his bed. He chuckled and sat up, "Good morning." he said and held out his hand for her take.

She blushed at her complete lack of coordination and grabbed his hand to help her up. She sat on his bed and rubbed the back of her head where she hit it. "Hey, sorry about that," she murmured in mild embarrassment, blushing.

Lue shook his head, "Eh, no problem. I needed to wake up anyways." He said with a loud yawn. He rubbed his eyes now that he had a chance to really wake up. "How long have you been up?" He asked, looking over at the clock. To him it was still really early. He yawned again and looked back over at her with a smile.

"Ummm, about two and a half hours," she answered, responding to his smile with one of her own. She didn't know if he usually woke up so early or not. To her it wasn't very early, but what did she know? She only needed like, five hours of sleep anyway. Lue probably needed seven to ten.

Lue looked back at the clock and about choaked, "You woke up at 5?!?!" He said with shock, "You're insane." He chuckled and laid back down with anothr yawn, "I get up around twelve or so." He said with another laugh. He adjuste his pillow so that it proped his head up enough for him to see Amma, "Was the bed not comfortable or something?" He asked, wondering why anyone in their right mind would get up that early.
