"Well firstly I'd like to thankyou for adding more souls to the graveyard, it's much appreciated, thanks." She said this sarcastically, but her voice held no mirth. "But stealing from and unresting the dead... that I don't take on lightly." "You have angered more people than you know."

Drift had killed before, and not just once either. He didn't deny that, but what was she suggesting? He was a... grave robber? or-?
"You have angered more people than you know"
He blinked, straining his brain. He was aware of the possible repurcusions that resulted from a job like his. However...
"And are you in a position to tell me who these people are?" he asked, stalling for time, thinking of the gun in his pocket and wondering if it would even work on the Uni.

"I could, but it wouldn't do either of you any good." she sighed. "Unfortunately... it isn't within my position to start fights. You really don't want a curse on your head, especially with your job." She was saying this calmly, circling him at a slow pace and enjoying the slight panic that emanated from him and disturbed her own aura. She never took her eyes off of him.
((that and I have no idea of who drift has killed xD I doubt it would add much to the rp anyway))

((Oh, i see. yeah, it wouldn't be that important. He just gets rival gang peoples, stuff like that xD))
"A curse." he said carefully, as if tasting the words, watching her as he gauged his surroundings out of the corner of his eyes. There were people on the street, quite a lot of them, and while this might deter your average attacker, he was dealing with something else... curses? Hell, what was he thinking? Drift resisted the urge to laugh. He wasn't a superstitious person. Sure, he'd seen their effects, but.... Wait. He knew what he could use the crowds for. The gelert mentally smiled.

"My job as graveyard keeper and protector requires me to keep the balance. To keep souls at peace." She stopped in front of him. "That starts with you."
(( lame, short post x__x))

"Souls actually pay attention to what happens down here?" he inquired, more filler, but he was also genuinely curious about the topic. Drift began walking backwards, though kept his gaze on Rue the entire time. After a moment, he bumped into someone. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" they shrilled, moving to shove him, and that is when he moved, pulling the pistol out in a flash, turning the safety off, aiming... ...and shooting it in the air. Twice.
Several people screamed as a result, people were running, ducking down, and a voice close to him screamed the familiar and expected, "HE'S GOT A GUN!!!" causing further panic. Drift lowered his arm, pocketing it as he moved through the crowd, soon barely able to see the Uni, though not out of the woods yet.

Rupalia watched him dash through the scene of chaos, before raising an eyebrow boredly and spreading her own wings. She took a run at a trash can, leaping onto it before gliding over the crowd with ease, hearing people scream underneath her. She tailed the gelert easily, her grey hair and robes blowing gently.

((You ever seen the Bourne Ultimatum? this reminds me of when the bad dude is chasing the girl through the city and all the buildings xDD))
Need to get off the street, off the street, off the street... Drift continued traveling along, trying not to be conspicious, when suddenly he heard screams erupt from the crowd, and he chanced a glance back. oh no... She was following him! Not like he didn't expect it, but the ease which she was keeping up... That would not do. That would not do at all. Drift continued to follow the crowd, knowing he risked further detection if he left it, eventually managing to duck into a tiki-themed nightclub. The lights and music assaulted him as he walked in, but he quickly made his way to the dance floor, close to the stage though not to much to be conspicious, so he could wait for the Uni to follow.

She watched him enter the nightclub, before landing in front of the door silently. Most of the people on the street had run off, and likely called 911 by now. Rue entered the nightclub, flattening her ears at the jungle-themed trash that was streaming from the speakers. She saw him around the stage area, and began to walk briskly to him, ignoring the strange looks she attracted.
Don't try to run, I am faster than you. Don't hide, because I will see you a mile away.

*sneezes* Sorry.. the holidays were reall busy for me...
Well that was useless, a snide voice in his mind muttered as he watched her walk in the door almost immedietly after him, gain her bearings, and start heading towards him. Was coming here a mistake?
If so... His? Drift furrowed his brow and watched as the Uni approached, meeting her gaze, though with the sunglasses' lenses sheilding his eyes, it might be hard for her to notice. Even so, running would be stupid. Pretending not to see her would be infinitely more stupid. A smile smile tugged at the corner of his mouth... Funny, he had rarely felt less like smiling.
"Rupalia!" he said, though it was more like yelling, in order to make himself heard over the absymal noise coming from the speakers. People dancing nearby turned, hearing him aswell. "So tell me, you're supposed to kill me? That's fine and dandy but have you even considered what I might have done? Or... who exactly is handing out these orders?"
People were staring, mostly because he was making noise, but those standing closest to Drift understood his words and gaped.

She glared at him when she addressed her by her name. Rue stalked over to him, face-to-face and listened to his question. She frowned slightly. "I don't understand. What you've done or who's telling me to do this is none of your concern." She spoke lightly but she knew that Drift, at least, could hear her perfectly clearly.

He took off his sunglasses, and casually placed them in her pocket. It didn't matter - she knew who he was anyway. The gelert raised an eyebrow, "It may not be my concern.. But do you know these things?" The people around quickly lost interest in the possible confrontation, and wandered off to do their business.

"Of course," she said, confused - what was he playing at? She stared at him for a few moments and resisted the urge to say 'duh'. The offending nightclub music pounded loudly in the nightclub. Knowing that she had already revealed her powers unintentionally to others tonight, she felt the need to get this gelert out of the nightclub. "What are you, anyway, an assasin?"

Drift's brow was still furrowed, though his expression cleared at her latest question, and he leaned slightly against the stage, crossing his arms over his chest, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "I wouldn't say that..."
