"Who cares?" asked Daani quickly. "She's nothing but trouble anyways." She hadn't told him yet about how exactly she lost her eye and fingers. She wasn't even sure he knew about the fingers. ---- Bekka stood up. "Where is this place?" she asked no one in particular. "You're on Roo Island," said a voice from below. She looked down to see a little kid who couldn't be more than five years old tugging lightly on her pants. "You look funny, what's that thing on your arm?" |

Lue scowled, "I do, she has my sister..." He said with annoyance. "What is so bad about her?" He asked not even thinking that she might be the one that caused that damage to her.

Bekka's eyes turned to the kid, but her face didn't move. His eyes widened suddenly, and his body was trembling. The air was in an arm, wrapped around his scrawny neck, when--
"Mattie?" came a woman's voice. Bekka looked up. A worried-looking Blumaroo was coming after the kid. "Mattie, stop pulling on people, it's rude. I'm so sorry," she said to Bekka. She pried Mattie's little Blumaroo fingers off of Bekka's pants, and took his hand, walking him away. Bekka blinked; the hand let go of Mattie.
"What?" she asked herself, shocked. "I.. I didn't tell it to let go!"

Abby had been in the room with the others just kind of listening in. She was pleased Dre was there, but never looked up from a spot on the ground she had been staring at. She was merely thinking and listening in on everything. “This vortex has made the ones locked in the underworld stronger as well, and soon they’ll be strong enough to break free.” She muttered to herself. She was trying to talk to everyone in the room, but her voice just wasn’t carrying very far. Her only concern was helping the other “undead” creatures, and she figured siding with these guys was the best way to get that accomplished.
((How about the vortex Shallo was talking about is the result of Abby’s creature’s trying to break out? Just an idea, don’t have to use it.))

Strips sighed a sigh of complete boredom. He had been listening in on everything that had been going on, but didn’t care to get involved. He didn’t care what “group” he was in, no one mattered to him anyway. Zcy was a possible exception, but only because he felt it was his duty to protect her. He wasn’t sure why though.

Jormungand had been separated from their Darigan companion, but they didn’t really care. He was far more trouble than he was worth anyway, and at the moment all they could concentrate on was this massive headache that wouldn’t go away. They felt like they could hear the thoughts of everyone around them and it just wouldn’t stop. But that couldn’t be right; they weren’t supposed to be able to hear everyone’s thoughts, just each others.

Meanwhile, Alisa was still missing. She hadn’t found anyone familiar that she cared to talk to, and also couldn’t find anyone in need of her assistance. She felt wonderful though; she felt like she did before she had been turned into a mortal.

((*dies* ok, I think I FINALY figured out what all my pets are doing...maybe ^^))
Phyn watched Lue leave, and sat back again, leaning on the table. Omega slipped in next to her, letting the gelert take charge a bit.
"Think this seacrh party of yours will do any good?" Phyn asked the grarrl next of her, which was currently looking over armor in the green light.
"Keep everyone busy, anyway...we'll have to come up with a better plan later." Omega replied, looking up at the black shape of the gelert.
Gorrio was listening in to the gelert, not hearing what the two were saying.
"We should probably wait for those two that went for lights to come back, then we should probably get moving."

"No, I'm not sure what cause the vortex, but I'm looking into that, aong with building a device to harness it. And the name is Shalloanil, if you must know." He had caught the kourgra's statement though, and didn't say anything in response to it. An army of undead sounded like it would help keep the neopians out of his way while he finished what he was doing.
"For now I'm trying to finish my device, then I'll be figuring how this vortex works. So you girls can find a way to keep yourselves busy, or help if you must." Feeling his speech complete, he turned, entering the forge again and leaving his staff near the doorway, out of the heat. He waited a moment to see if any of them were following him in before removing the stasis spell and begining work on the rings again.
((Shallo is really confusing me right now. He feels lunatic to be taking over the world, but he isn't and it feels weird to type. And he's older then all of the girls, which is also weird for me --'. It's confusing.))

Dre looked at the other two and then back where Shallo went, a small smile formed on her face as her body fazed out and became transparent. She walked into the room and watched at the Jetsam worked, trying to figure out what his idea was for harnessing this vortex he mentioned. All she saw were rings and other trinkets though, nothing that seemed useful. She continued to walk though, having nothing else better to do.

"We probably should." Drift agreed with the hissi, "But we can decide search groups and where we'll be searching in the meantime..." He said these last words hollowly.. He wasn't quite sure, exactly, how such a thing would help.. But at the very least it would keep everyone busy.... And it was better than doing nothing. Seeing as the Hissi had before been messing with some technology, the shadow gelert asked him, "Would you happen to have any maps, charts... anything on the Central?" As an afterthought he added, "Sorry for not introducing myself.. DriftFern at your service..." ======= Nerrone was talking to the other remaining siblings in a low voice - Saluki and Skypii looked vaguely confused, while Vann and Vixcy had grave expressions on their faces. ======== Checkr wandered another aisle, keeping one hand on the shelves so as to keep her bearings. Suddenly, her fingers landed on a promising-feeling box. "Bingo.." she hissed to herself, bringing the light down to examine it. "LANTERN STYLE FLASHLIGHT - 60 WATTS" proclaimed the package. The kyrii wasted no time, and ripped the box open, using the claws on her right hand to ease this task, and put the batteries in, before clicking on the light and holding it up. "Hey Rasi? I found 'em!" ((Lantern style flashlights look like this incase you were wondering.. They're normal flashlights but you can open them and use them like lanterns n_n)) ===== Umber frowned, and slouched against the wall, bored. After no more than a minute of this, she sighed, righted herself, and followed the jetsam, boots clacking on the floor. "I'm sure my talents could be put to good use.." she said, making fire envelope both of her hands. |

"Huh? Oh, great!" Rasi said walking over to her, "Yeah, we'll need a lot of these..." He took as many as he could, stuffing them into every pocket he had in his jeans, "I'm going to grab some food too..." He said and filled his arms with chips and other food. "We can always come back for more if we need to..." He said and waited for her to take her share of lights and food.

"Your sister is safe," said Daani. "Don't ask how I know. I just have this... feeling. Besides, I know exactly where she was put. I've been there myself. But Lue, we need to get outside and do something other than stand here. It's not only boring, but it does no good." She smiled weakly and walked outside of the stupid pizza shop.

Zcy tugged on Strip's arm. "We should go out and find some way to figure out what's going on," she said.

Bekka scowled. She made and sent an arm out after the kid, but it decided to fade away at about five feet away. She growled irritably. This was getting real old real fast. She wanted to see blood and she wanted to see it now.
Walking along, she sent out an arm and it broke a window to a dark Neohome. Lights turned on inside and she whirled into air and flew in through the window, solidifying when she touched ground. At least her invisibility still worked. She was in the kitchen, and two Blumaroos, both in pajamas, ran in.
"Hey," one yelled, "who are you? Get out of my house!"
She grinned maliciously and grabbed his neck with an arm, tightening the grip. Work this time, damn it, she ordered silently, her smile gone and her look replaced with evil determination. More Roos made their way into the kitchen until there were four, three of them kids, staring at who was assumed to be their father that Bekka was strangling. Finally she pressed the arm more and it twisted and pulled up; off came the Blumaroo's head and on came again the terrible smile on his killer's face. The house was filled with screams, screams that were quickly silenced.

Vi was silently following Rasi and Checkr. She peered at them through a pile of junk, gazing at Rasi helplessly. She still loved him, she knew that, but she also knew he hated her, so it was hopeless.

Checkr took his example, and stuffed her pocket with the lights, getting some chips and soda aswell. "Okay.. move on out." she said with a grin, treading carefully through broken glass as she reached the door and opened it, holding it for Rasi out of common courtesy. "Hey Daani!" she said, seeing the aisha. "Need a flashlight?"

Rasi smiled and walked though the door, feeling awkward that she was holding it for him instead of the other way around but didn't say anything. He looked around for the girl Checkr was yelling at but say Vi instead... He tossed her a flashlight, "You'll need thing if you want to spy on me better..." He said with a frown. He tossed her a bag of chips as well and started heading back towards the pizza place to empty his hands...

Lue followed her out and spotted Checkr as she called to Daani, he waved and went over to help her with all of her things, "Here, let me take some of that." He said looking around to see what might be best to take off her hands. "Where did y'all get this stuff?" He asked, pulling a few ship bags off the top of her pile.

Checkr turned to see who Rasi was talking to, surprised to see they had another visitor, but shrugged it off. "Okay, sure." she said to Lue, giving him some stuff to carry. "Always the gentleman, eh?" she joked, "It's just in there... Better if someone puts it to good use during this madhouse..."
