-THE roleplay- TAKE1

Lue smiled and shook his head, "Ah, ok..." He said seeing the store, "Come on Daani, I sure we can grab some waters or something..." He said noticing that they had only gotten food. He still had plenty of room to carry stuff as he stuff the chips into the pockets of his cargo pants. He flicked on one of the flashlights Checkr had given him and scanned the room, spotting the coolers in the back where the drinks were kept. "Over here." He said, waving for Daani to come with him.

Vi's cheeks reddened in embarrassment. She caught the flashlight and the chips and watched Rasi leave, her heart pounding in her ears. Oh, man, she thought sadly, did I make one hell of a mistake back on Terror Mountain. Her eyes stung and she looked down.

Daani waved hi to Checkr, wondering if the dude with her was this Rasi person. She stayed near Lue, listening silently to him talk. His voice was a lot deeper than it was when he was twelve... the thought almost made her giggle, but she hadn't "giggled" in a long time.
Her eye went to his arm quickly and back. She really wanted to hold on to it. Even if she told Lue that she was in love with him, had been for years, it wasn't like he was going to say he loved her back and just hold her. Hell, he didn't even know who she was when they met up again!

((My pets are all so screwed up, aren't they? I hope Zeke doesn't befall the same fate. Or Trei, whom I haven't really ever rp'd with XDDDD))

Lue opened the door of the cooler, cold air rushed out of it... "I didn't realize it was so hot..." He said, standing in the doorway for a moment while the cool air flowed out. He grabbed a bunch of waters, some cokes and other refreshments and turned around. He saw Daani and smiled, "Here you want to take these... I'll get some more..." He said holding out the bottles for her to take.

She took the bottles breathlessly, nodding slowly. He was so handsome; he stole the words she wasn't even about to say from her mouth. The Scorchio spikes and the Lupe tail... the smoke he exhaled periodically... it was different. But that was one of the reasons she loved him. He was an original, unlike any other. A hybrid. It's true, purebreds are pretty enough, but mutts, or hybrids, are the most beautiful. She herself was just some ugly, dirty Aisha that hardly deserved him. He needn't ever be burdened with her, and yet he chose to befriend her. That was more than enough.

Strips was yawning when Zcy tugged on his arm, showing his boredom. “Heck yeah we should” he quickly agreed. “It’s a heck of a lot better than just standing around doing nothing. I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to feel useless.” He shifted his weight between his legs as he stretched his arms in the air. “Okay, let’s go” he said once he was finished.

Abby sighed, bored out of her mind. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea after all. This jetsam obviously didn’t trust any of them, and she couldn’t be much help if she wasn’t trusted. Plus she figured too many chefs spoiled the broth. Sluggishly she walked over to a desk and shoved some objects aside so she could sit atop it. She rested her head in the palm of her hand and let her feet dangle over the side boredly. As she sat there, dark purple clouds began filling the room. “What the hell?” Abby asked, rather loudly. She had never been able to do this before, and she quickly discovered she could control the cloud. “Hmm, why don’t you go over there…” And with a wave of her hand, the cloud moved across the room to fill the space the humans were in. It didn’t hurt them, but probably made it nearly impossible for them to see.

And I think you're pets seem to follow some form of pathos, Lucy. At least, from I can tell. Or they've just got relationship problems))

Gorrio sighed, shaking his head, "No, I don't know what's going on, other than my powers and everyone esles seem to be out of control. The name's Gorrio, by the way" he added, noting the gelert's introduction. He folded his arms, tapping his tail on the table. The resounding sparks fell harmlessly to the floor.

Omega sat in silence, tyring to figure out how these groups could be sorted. The families would probably want to stick together, of course, but he, Phyn, and Gorrio could probably split amongst the other groups.

The mutant ruki had lost interest, looking on the nearby window in the direction the others had gone. Checkr was standing there with a bori and shoyru, but she couldn't spot Lue or Daani. Must be int he store, no big deal, she thought, still in the process of bringing her temper back to normal. She wasn't sure what to think of meeting up with them again, she wasn't sure if she trusted Daani, or if they trusted her at all. No one had commented on her drastic change in mood and appearance, but she could put that down as forgetting, even if they hadn't changed so much that she couldn't place generalistics on them.

Shallo turned, watching the brown lupess walk in. "Not quite, my dear, I've everything here already as I have before any of you showed up. Just amuse yourself with the others, I doubt I'll be needing any of you yet."

He turned back to the jumble of chaos on the table, taking his tools in hand and beating at the hot metal once more, doing his best to ignore the lupess.

((I keep imagining Shallo having a complete change of mind in the middle of all this, due to the randomness of his personality changes, and at some point Bekka's going to show up and strike a deal with Shallo so she'll be causing mayhem too o0'))

((Bekka doesn't make deals. She kills. XDD I'd really rather not have her kill Shallo or one of the humans But maybe she'll appear there and strangle him for fun XDD Or demand he stop screwing with the power mayhem so she can slaughter people in peace. XDDDDDDD

And why does Phyn hate Daani so much? ))

I don't know what Phyn's deal is. I think it was just the bad expierence of the whole adventure. She wasn't a big adventurer, so she wasn't used to it and ti was bad for her, and when she turned mutant she kept grudges and bad feelings longer, or more vividly. So I think she just sticks 'Daani' in with 'Avoid' in her mind. And I dunno what her deal is with Lue and Checkr. She has serious moodswing issues whenever I RP her o0))

By the time some nosy neighbor had called 911, Bekka had broken into four houses and killed the sleeping residents inside. The Blumaroo what called the police on her soon found a bloody handprint on her shoulder one moment and her head on the floor the next, but she'd already gotten the word to the authorities.

The police came at her with guns, but she brought up an invisible force field and walked through them, strewing their bodily parts across the streets with just a thought. But her power faltered for a moment; the force field died and a bullet whizzed past her ear. She stumbled and hit her head on the asphalt. The force field surrounded Bekka again, and every cop was taken out before the mark on her arm vanished and the force field died upon Arathyne's waking up.

She grabbed her head. It hurt ferociously. She was hardly aware of what was going on. She was woozy and could barely stand up, but stand up she did. She ambled off toward a house and banged her fist on the door several times. When the irritated and sleepy Blumaroo inside opened the door, she fell down. The Blumaroo caught her and Ara slipped either into sleep or unconsciousness.

(( sorry guys, I was at my boyfriends for the weekend ( ^_^ ) and he doesn't have the internet, living in the country and all, so I couldn't get on. I didn't leave you! =P ))

Dhia blushed again. "Sorry," he said, and sat down next to Cera on the couch. It was pretty comfy. "I can't help it I guess; I haven't seen you for ages, so I'm pretty nervous. I dunno." he shrugged. "I missed you though, really I did."
He really didn't know what to say after that. Dhia knew what he wanted to say, but he wasn't sure whether it'd be a good idea to steer the conversation in that direction.
He took the plunge.
"So... how did you get back?" he asked awkwardly.

Checkr nodded dismisively to Lue as he walked into the store, then seeing Daani's look, asked her, "You okay Daani? You look kinda.." she didn't elaborate, and instead turned to the street, looking out into the darkness, holding the flashlight out. Seeing as it was just her, Rasi, and the shoyru, she asked the shoyru, "I don't think I've seen you before... What's your name?"

Umber nodded, but remained where she was, watching Shallo carefully as he worked with the metal. She stayed there for several moments, well aware that he really didn't want her there, actually staying just for that purpose, then lost interest and wandered out. Sighting the two others, she glanced in their directions then continued walking, looking for an empty room in which she could practice her fire. She would need it later...

Drift watched the sparks with some interest, then nodded, "If I knew anything, It'd be out in the open already.." He stared off into space for a moment, then added, "Do you have any theories?"

Daani blinked upon hearing Checkr speaking to her, snapping back into reality. She suddenly turned bright red and laughed weirdly. "Look like what?" she asked nervously, using a fake cheery voice. "I don't look like anything--do I look like something? I was totally unaware of that, ha ha!" ((XDDDDDDD))

Vi was a little surprised at Daani's outbreak, and muttered to Checkr, "Why don't you ask Rasi?" before walking quickly back into the pizza shop.
