Rasi looked over for a brief moment, his green eyes scanning the Kyrii for a moment, "Some lupess, I'm not quite sure who it is though." he said grimly, shifting his gaze to where the lupe should have landed, "She should be over there." He pointed out but he had doubts that that was were the lupe really was.
He then looked at the gelert, following his gaze to see Gorrio on the roof with someone else he didn't quite recognize. The figure beside the hissy was dark, hidden in the shadows, even when the glowing hissy was right next to him. The more he stared at the figure the more familiar the shadow became.
"Oh, God..." he muttered as his eyes grew wide.

Dre had excluded herself from the others to a small dark corner, experimenting on what her new powers were. A small flame flickered up from the ground, the smell of smoke started rising from it and light lit up the corner. It didn't burn though; she became solid and put her hand over the fire, trying to smother it but nothing happened. The illusion continued on as if her hand wasn't there... A smile spread across her face and she got up, walking over to the Jetsam's room, "So are we just going to sleep the day away or what?" she asked with annoyance highly present in her voice.

"Lupess?" Drift interjected, green eyes now very wide with worry, his markings seeming to glow in the faint light. His expression changed suddenly into a stony one, "It possible... That the lupe was wielding fire?"
Checkr hissed, though soon noticed Rasi's reaction to the shadow. "Who? What is that? Is that..." She squinted, trying to make out the figure. It resembled Lue... but with clear mistakes in posturing and such.
((will write more later.. Okay.. let's take a vote.. What kind of powers should Umber have next? XD))

((Hm....I dunno, air? You have to keep in mnd that each ring is pretty limited in it's powers. So the cellphone can probbaly only do some fire control or something.....))
Gorrio gave a look of impatience to the dark lupe, but only the rsounding crack of lightning as it arced between his wings gave away his annoyance as he darted towards the wall the lupess had crashed into. He stayed pretty high up, not wanting to be surprised by anyhting. As he squinted through the dark below he managed to make out what appeared to be her shape hanging on a ledge. He quickly turned, flying back to Roni.
"Looks like she's still alive, hanging on the edge. I'd keep your guard up if I were you." he said, before flying back to continue circling the wreckage like some scavenger bird.
Phyn quickly darted over as Gorrio left, she could barely make out the dark shape that was Lue. But the faint light brought out his darkness and she was soon hovering next to him, the drone of her wings still ripping the air.
"Alright, Lue, if you had magic why didn't you say so beofre when everyone was told to speak up? You know how all this chaos is going on. You should have told us." she asked, her gaze locked on his face. His eyes were worrying her, they looked so different than she remembered.
Omega had been watching through one of the few remaining windows, and could barely hear those speaking outside. But he couldn't see anyone in the dark expect the darting green he knew to be Gorrio. Hopefully whatever's going on will be finished soon. We need a break.

Shallo growled in his sleep, but otherwise didn't respond to the lupess' snide remarks. If he could sleep through his own home shaking around him, a few simple words weren't enough. He was currently lying on his stomach on the mattress, the white line running down his back barely visible in the dark. He had discarded his robe and belt, but he was still wearing the dark blue pants that reached his ankles.

Dre waited a few more minuted and stepped through the door, looking down on the passed out Jetsam and rolling her eyes. She thought about sending him a nightmare to wake him up but then realized that it wouldn't really be a dream anymore. She also figured if he was the bad guy who was taking over the world so not much would scare him... She placed her fingers on his shoulder and nudged him lightly, when he didn't respond to that she nudged him a little harder. "Hey, come one wake up." She said irritably.

Ieno looked over at the same stupid Ruki that he had ran into earlier, his teeth grinding as she asked her question. At first he thought of not answering but she seemed like one of those people who wouldn't shut up about things unless she was answered. He growled to himself and then let out a long sigh, "Ya think Lue knows about this?" He asked, gestuing to himself, "Well he doesn't." He griped and then stood up, "Now if you please..." He glared at her one last time before taking off to the sky again. "So she's still alive..." He muttered to himself as he overheard the Hissy. He slowly came to a stop, landing on the building where the lupess was and looked her up and down, "Whatcha got there?" He asked, motioning toward the items in her hand with his eyes.

Rasi looked over at the gelert, "Uh, no she had some kind of earth powers, I didn't see any fire." He admitted, confused on why the gelert would ask that.

((Well, duh, that's why I mentioned it. I just didn't want you to think he slept in his robe or anything, cause I personally think that would be weird of him. And I thought she was already in the room...))
Shallo snarled more, but the persistent prodding did the trick. He rolled onto his side, glaring at her drowzily. It took a few minutes for his mind to process what she said, but once he had gotten the message an irritated look crossed his face.
"And just why? It's late, I'm exhausted, and if you're so impatient for somehting productive you'd be better off waiting." However he pulled himself up, giving her an angrily questioning glance before grabbing his robe and quickly doning it. While fastening it and his belt he did take a moment to question her morals and sense of privacy if she was willing to drift through his door just to wake him at some god awful hour in the morning, but decided against mentioning it.

Phyn watched him go, trying to figure what the meaning of his words. Lue doesn't know? That sure looked like him to me.... as her mind sturggled for answers, she though of that Xweetok from earlier, Ara, or something. She watched him go, but figure it was not worth the trouble to follow him if he would just avoid her. Instead she turned her attention groundward once more, looking for Daani. She probably knows more about magic than me, and she knows about this Ara, she could probably figure it out better than me...
Gorrio caught sight of the Lupe heading his way, and hovered anxiously as the lupe flew down to where the lighter lupess was hanging. Gorrio lowered a bit, but couldnt' quite make out what they were saying, and he perfered to stay where he was than risk getting hit my a giant rock again.

Dre crossed her arms as she waited for him to get ready, a scowl forming on her face as he spoke to her, "I've been waiting! Unlike that other bitch that is already out there, causing more chaos with her freakin' earthquakes every five minutes!" She growled there was a short pause before she spoke up again, triggered by another one of Shallo's glances. "Sorry for interrupting your beauty sleep but I think we have other matters on our hands at the moment." She said exaggerating the word 'sorry' so make the sarcastic-ness known in her statement. She snorted as he finished getting ready and stormed out of the room again, glaring at the humans before turning her back to them to wait for Shallo again.

Shallo ignored her snide comments as he snatched his staff from its corner. He opened the door following her out. He didn't question her ability to know what was happening in Neopia Central, but one thing she had said was still nagging him.
"That girl shouldn't have any powers to reak havoc with. I stole them earlier, if you recall." he said, reaching into his pocket to pull out the slightly dimmer glowing cellphone. it flashed as he activated the power, and a ball of fire materialized in his hand. He scowled.
"If she had fire powers....That Witch!!" He stormed off toward his desk, pulling open drawers and boxes and quickly counting to contents. The resulting loss brought out more snarling and a fury that could rival Jazan at his worst. "That theif. She'll pay for this," he mumbled as he pulled two rings out of one drawer. He impatiently turned to Dre.
"You can teleport, correct?"

Roni ignored everything everyone said to her and, still holding the stone mallet that even a relatively strong person couldn't budge, she flew down next to where Umber hung. She got close enough to hiss in the Lupe's ear, "The rings are powerless. Trei took every scrap of power that did not belong to you personally. They have no power. But I do." She backed away before Umber could strike, and then whirled in a circle, yelling loudly as she smashed the hammer into the Lupe's back so hard the entire buidling shattered.

When Bekka opened her eyes, she still had a fever, but she sat up. Her cheeks and forehead were burning. Why was she feeling so horrible? And what was the deal earlier with her powers failing? She tried to move the glass of water on her nightstand without touching it. A hand slowly formed, much slower than usual, and died when it bumped against the glass. Irritated, she tried again. And again. And again. And when it still didn't work, she took the glass and threw it at the wall. It shattered and fell to the ground, splattering the wall with water. She tried to picture the dripping water as blood instead.
Footsteps pounded down a hallway. A light turned on, the door opened, and someone turned on the light in the room she was in. She shielded her eyes with her hand at the sudden burst of light.
"What's going on?" a woman asked, mildly frightened. She saw the glass and looked at Bekka, who glared at her with icy blue eyes. She sent a hand through the woman, intending to pick up blood from the veins and pull them out to put the bloody handprint on the woman's shoulder before she killed her. But there was no bloody handprint on the advancing blumaroo.
"Your fever is still very high." Her hand was on Bekka's forehead.
She snarled, "Don't touch me!" and got out of the bed, but collapsed after a step. The blumaroo caught her.
"Silly girl, you can't possibly move with this temperature! You're going to rest."
Grudgingly, Bekka found herself back in the bed, and still with no control over her powers. Well, she thought before she faded away into sleep, if magick won't help me kill, then I guess I'll just have to resort to physical methods. Knives could work.

STRANGE ABILITY TO LIVE ACTIVATE *duh duh duhhh!!*)) The chestnut lupe regarded the other lupe with distrust, eyes narrowing. She slipped a ring slowly on her finger, and raised a hand, perhaps to teach him a little lesson. Never talk to strangers, dearie~ A moment later, however, a very strange grin bloomed on her face as she stared at the hybrid, somehow recognizing him as 'one of her kind', one might say. "Power." she breathed, flamed eyes lighting up her face, quite literally. With a sneer she took another ring, examined it closely for several seconds, then handed it to the lupe. A second later she yelped with anger and pain - but although the blow was well aimed, some strange instinct compelled her to step aside, only being grazed by the deadly blow, before it smashed onto the rooftop. Still, it sent Umber flying, and as good luck would have it, she managed to grab a window ledge, slightly breaking her fall, before plummeting into the depths of the building below. She jammed the rings on her fingers, all three of them, and went to lash out with whatever power she had been given, not caring who or what it hit, not even targeting Roni at the moment, though it was in her near future. ((Lucy, it's up to you if they really work.. Not sure if Roni was bluffing or not =/ )) -------- "..Earth?" Drift asked slowly, looking equally confused. "Then it can't..." He heard Umber's brief cry, and jumped, "That's got to be her.. If it isn't-!" Checkr said nothing, the kyrii was preoccupied with the course of the Lue-lookalike, squinting to see, Isn't that Phyn?, she thought to herself, before the building collapsed for good this time, a great cloud of dust obscuring everything. |

Lue took the ring in his giant hand, not quite sure how to use it or what it was really for. As he turned to look back up at the lupe though the giant hammer hit her again, shattering the side of the building and causing him to fly back as well. He let out a small growl and opened his wings to stop his falling, his green eyes flashed to Roni as he hovered in the air. Anger pulsed though him, his eyes fixed on her. He heard the lupe yelp as she slammed against another building and looked back at the ring in his hand, he needed to know what this was for. Yeah she had mentioned power and that was what he wanted but he had no clue how to use it and knowing him he would end up breaking it unless he got some instructions. He then sent off after the lupe, his wings beating hard as he tried to beat her to the ground.
He managed to catch her shirt as she started fumbling around with the rings, wondering what she was up to but not stopping until they were well out of Roni's massive hammer's range. With another beat of his wings he took off again, readjusting his grip so that he was now holding onto her shoulders.

Dre raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms, "Maybe..." She said, her lips forming a small smile, "But why would I want to teleport you?" She asked her tone becoming serious and agitated, "You didn't seem to need me before." She pointed out and then turned on her heel to walk out. She didn't like the feeling of being used, yeah she could teleport but he was treating her like crap before and not all of the sudden he needed her.

Shallo growled, mumbling something probably comparing the lupess to Nabile or some other such character in his dislike. He watched her go, but unfortunatly had to trust her more than the other lupess, whom he had to hurry and deal with. With a huff he slipped on one of the rings, focusing on the location of the brown lupe.
No sooner had he teleported than he was bombarded with rubble of all kinds. He furiously muttered some incatation, bringing up a sheild about himself, allowing himself to get out of the range of falling bricks. He looked furiously around for the girl, and managed to catch sight of her beind suspended by some other black lupe. He snarled as he caught sight of the glints on gold on her fingers, but he was too budy trying to consturct a spell to get to her. He needed to get her out of this battlefeild and back where he could reprimand her properly. Shallo quickly muttered a basic levitation spell, though even that was slow considering it was not one he used often. But after a few moments he was able to quickly hover beside her, grab her arm, and slip on the paired ring in his pocket.
And once more they were back at his caves. The whole ordeal couldn't have taken more than a minute or too, but he was almost completely drained from the multitude of normal spells he had to use. Shallo leaned heavily on his staff as he let go of her arm.
"And What, may I ask, did you think you were doing? Give me my belongings back before you get yourself killed. If you want to get yourself killed, fine, but I won't have a theif like you ruining my life's work." He snapped this all quickly, he really was rather drained, and his well fevered rant was much more like a weary lecture. He didn't even notice the black lupe he had accidentally dragged back.
((Can't think of anyhting for anyone else...plus I've gt homework and this long post drained my brain.))

Umber was very surprised, to put it lightly, at being caught. Her eyes widened, but the only noise she made was a sharp intake of breath. The lupess she viewed the black lupe with narrowed eyes, and then, surprisingly, began to laugh. A second later she was aware of someone grabbing her arm, turned to snap at them, fingers flying into a fist.. But then...
She was back at the lair, staring right at Shallo, blinking a few times and looking about as if to make sure where what happened, but quickly regained composure, tail swishing a few times. The lupe was silent for a moment, thinking. "Give me back my powers." she said slowly, a grin creeping up on her face, "And you can have your rings."

Ieno wanted to throw her down with the nipping and squirming she was doing bt only continued to hold one because he wanted to know about the ring. He tightened his grip on her arm and let out a low growl but then his surroundings changed abruptly. He let go of her in an instant and took a step back, examining the area and the Jetsam who started taking to the lupess. His eyes fell on Dre and then narrowed, a small flame flickered from his nose as he snorted in disgust.
Dre stared back at Ieno, who she had known about for as long as Ieno had been around. She quietly strode over to Shallo, "What is he doing here?" She hissed, her eyes stayed fixed on the overgrown lupe. She didn't want him to be here, he could ruin everything, let the humans out, and who knows what else!

Shallo's glare narrowed, but he turned, snatching up the cellphone form the desk and showing it to her. "You want your powers, you'll need this for a few more days. Then you'll get them back naturally. Now hand over my rings, and I'll give you this medlsome device." He held his other hand out, the rings on his staff clinking as he shifted it into the crook of his elbow.
He glanced past Umber to the black lupe behind her, and he grimaced. His mind finally registered Dre's words and he turned quickly to her.
"How should I know? He must have been touching our comrade here when I brought her back," he said, motioning Umber. He then turned to the lupe, a suspicious look in his eyes.
"So, do introduce yourself? And whether you'd interfere with our plans or not."

Gorrio slowly and cautiously flew lower in the wreckage looking for any sign of life, whether from the lupess or the black lupe whom he had spoken with eariler. After not catching any sign of them at first, he began a more thorough search, only to have this end unconclusive either. He flew back to Roni quickly.
"I can't find anyhting done there. Either they're buried or they aren't around here anymore."
