"Yes," she said hotly, angry not with him but with herself. How could she let Ara onto this ferry where there'd be other people? Ara needed to be isolated at all times these days! "Trei's working on it. She'll stop it." She wasn't 100% sure that that was true. Trei was right powerful, but she was walking into her potential death. Thinking of it made her shiver, but she knew she had to stay here. You have to stay safe so our people will have someone to lead them if destruction occurs, came the whisper of a memory. She pushed it aside.

Ze kept walking slowly down the hall, somehow knowing where he was going. He turned around the corner and saw his target, a faerie xweetok crouched down in a puddle of blood. The wind was strong around here, really strong. He went back around the corner, hiding himself from sight and pressed his back against the wall. The dark grey mohawk-like hair stuff ((Sorry I have no idea what to call it right now)) that lined his spine, flattened down as he kept his back to the wall and through of a plan. He knew his goal, to smash this plate on the xweetoks head, but he couldn't throw it, the wind would just blow it away and he had no throwing abilities what so ever. No other ideas came to mind though... He didn't want to kill the xweetok, he wasn't the type that would do that but there had to be some way to knock her out. He needed a distraction... Something that would keep her attention away from him as he carried out his plan.

"There must be some way out of here, so at least we can go and help or something." He said into her ear, holding onto her and looking around.

Cera looked at him, a hopeful gleam in her eyes, "Well this is a dream world..." She said thinking out loud. She closed her eyes and tried to think of something that might be able to puncture it. Something that Ara could have said that might give away what the secret of this place. She let out a small sigh and opened her gold eyes again, shaking her head slightly... "I don't know...." She groaned, leaning into Dhia's chest, a look of defeat now on crossed her face.

Dhia wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly. She felt warm against his chest and soft in his arms. "Even if we don't get out of here," he said to her quietly. "At least it's with you." He stared around the room, remembering how comforting it had been a few minutes ago, and how it felt like a prison now. Dhia ran his fingers through her hair.
"I love you, Cera."

Cera smiled, that was the truth... Yeah, she would like Lue, Azura, Rasi, and Sarah to be here but she wouldn't want to be stuck here with them. She closed her eyes again and let out a sigh, this time she was just trying to calm herself and get her mind off of everything that was happening. "I love you too." She said after she heard the same words come out of Dhia's mouth. She turned to look at him, her small smile broke the tense feeling that had surrounded them. "More than ever right now..." She muttered quietly, "I don't know what I would do if I was here by myself..."

Trei finally managed to catch where Bekka was and in the short half-instant her guard was let down, Trei struck and slammed her magick onto her, suppressing her power. The winds died down from such ferocity as it was moments ago to a rough breeze. Trei started running, taking off and heading for Bekka, never once letting go of her control, never faltering. One mistake would be the death of her and everyone else on the boat.
Roni took this time to look around at the ferry. There was blood everywhere. Bits and pieces of corpses and bones and organs were scattered about, and when she looked over the edge, she could see that quite a bit of the ocean itself was painted crimson and carried torn bodies. She winced, and remembered a time long ago when blood made her queasy. She was so used to it now that she barely noticed.
Trei saw her and yelled, "BEKKA! Stop this right now!"
Bekka, tired as she was, looked up at Trei, ripping her gaze from the carpet. She managed a malicious grin that showed her sharp teeth. "Well, well, if it isn't the mind-reading witch," she taunted. "Come to put me back in my cage?"

((Decided to make something happen back at the Central. Help me out here? And oh yeah *sticks Nerrone on the Ferry* xD))
"Well?" Umber asked Shallo, eyes flashing, tail flicking in irritation. "Are you going or not?" The tone in which she said "you" suggesting she meant "we". "If you're going for the whole world domination thing, you better get the alliance of other lands... or the subservience... Neopia Central is only one place on the map." The lupess continued, "Keeping only this area in the dark will work for only so long, it may be the capital, but I bet in Faerieland and the space station, and hell, everywhere else on the map, they're planning on something."
---------------------
Screams. Shouting. Grisly noises. She would have winced, pressing her ears to her head, if she hadn't heard it all before. Instead Nerrone frowned, a smidgen of pain in her dark gray eyes. She standing on the lower deck, clear witness to all the tradgedy happening above (and below, with all the bodies and blood muddying the ocean), traveler's cloak and hair ruffling in the sea breeze. "Well, well, if it isn't the mind-reading witch. Come to put me back in my cage?" That voice was familiar... the xweetok from the cafe! The silver lupe bit her lip. This could not end well.
---------------------
"What if we're stuck here FOREVER!" the purple aisha whined as she and Checkr walked down the road, both carrying laden backpacks and miscellanous supplies. "Vixcy, it's just like Drift said. All I'm worried about is the winter." Checkr responded, adjusting her pack on her shoulder. Vixcy opened her mouth to say something, but decided against it and looked up at the sky, "I hope we just don't have asteroids again." "You never know, it IS the end of the world."
---------------- Drift examined several cases of bottled water that had been dragged in to the store, appeared satisfied, then scanned the room, looking for Omega or Gorrio, finding the former with some difficulty.
"Omega, This is just my opinion, but I think we should move our..." he looked around at the various pets, doing jobs, talking, some even sleeping...."camp." he finished, for lack of a better word. "This place isn't secure. The whole front wall is glass window, it's just an ice cream parlor... We could probably find a better place.."
-------------- Skypii, Vann, and Saluki were by the fire, just outside the parlor. Skypii was floating mere inches above it, the flames threatening to get his tail, but he didn't seem to notice as he jammed another three marshmallows on an already overloaded stick, then yelled with surprise when they all suddenly caught fire.
Vann was sitting, back against a large piece of concrete, ripped from the ground from Umber and Roni's fight. He had found a piece of broken mirror-glass, and was using it to painstakingly check his hair.
Saluki was twirling her glowsticks and laughing, though they glowed no more and looked dull in the sunlight.

Shallo glanced over at her quickly, eyebows raised at her tone. "Of course I'm going. Qasala is my home realm, is it not. I at least owe the king some empty words of comfort, do I not? As for other lands, we can deal with them once I finish harnessing the power of this chaos."
He stalked back to the container of food, grabbing another fruit and forcing it into Umber's hand as he walked by. "However, your not coming with me to face the king dressed like that," he stated as he continued walking, a glance of disdain at her dirty clothes.
Without seeing if she was following, and hoping she wasn't, Shallo walked down the hallway that leas to the humans, but before making it that far he turned a corner leading to a smaller hallway. He pushed open a door on the right, revealing a large storage room filled with chests of various sizes and designs on shelves or cluttering the floor.
The jetsam quickly turned to a shelf directly to the right of the door and began reading the names engraved on them in qasalan. He stopped at the fourth chest, pulling it down and opening it. The chest was filled with qasalan outfits about Umber's size, and he gave a grunt of satisfaction and dragged it to a second door in the hall, shutting the storage room behind him. He stopped, turning to see if Umber was there yet.
==========================
"Oh," Cirxel answered, his voice subdued as he continued his attempt to dornw out the carnage outside. He noticed roni's tensness and slowly put his hand on her shoulder, clenching it strongly as much for his comfort as hers.
======================
Nodded as Drift gave his suggestion. "I agree. Do you know of any buildings around here that might hold up better?" he asked, pulling over one of the maps and browsing over it quickly.
((I would write more, but my dad's kicking me off DX))

"Bekka, give Ara back her body," Trei commanded. "Now!" Bekka laughed. "It's my body too, you know," she reminded the witch. "Or did you forget that little detail?" Trei fumed. Bekka brought herself up to her full height and walked close to her, stopping less than two feet away.
"Do you know how easy it would be to kill you right now?" she asked quietly. "Just with a thought, and your body will join the others outside."
"So why don't you kill me?" "What?" "Kill me," said Trei. "Right now. Go ahead. I won't stop you."
Bekka's eyes were wide, but she narrowed them again. She clenched her fists and trembled, and then she relaxed them and let out a breath in a sharp, slow hiss. Trei was looking particularly smug.
"You don't have total control, do you?" she taunted the murderess. "Everyone else is keeping you from killing me, aren't they? How many are there, Bekka? How many are in there that oppose your actions, that are restraining you from causing my death?"
Bekka hesitated. "I don't know," she said finally, adding quickly, "Over one hundred."

Ze had his back against the wall, his mind at work on what to do to distract the wind Xweerok when he heard someone yell a name. He slowly moved from his spot and looked around the corner again to find another Xweetok, fuming with anger, and yelling at the first one. "So why don't you kill me?" Said the new xweetok, Ze was now fulling out from behind the wall, giving the Xweetok who said that a confused look. "What?" replied the killer. "Kill me," the good Xweetok said. "Right now. Go ahead. I won't stop you." The Xweetok started again, the other one tensed up and looked away. Ze was no officially confused but didn't do anything... Not yet. They continued to talk a few moments more and that's when the evil Xweetok seemed to calm down. Ze saw this as his time to strike. He slowly crept the five or so feet to where the xweetoks stood and raised the plate above his head. He grew an inch or so as he stood up on his tip toes and then brought his arms down in one swift motion, putting all of his focus into smashing that plate on the Xweetok's head. The plate shattered, sending glass fragments shooting off everywhere. Ze fell down himself and stared up at his target with frightful eyes. His glance shot at the other Xweetok but then landed back on the killer.

The plate hit Bekka's head hard. She barely flinched, and blinked, then turned around to look at the broken fragments of the plate. And then suddenly, she fell. Trei caught her in her arms.
"Nicely done," Trei complimented the Krawk. "Hopefully when she wakes up, one of those... erm, never mind."
Over one hundred!! she thought, astounded. She was unaware of the sweat on her face, or the look of horror that had been plastered on there the moment she heard Bekka's response. Ara... how could you possibly accomplish this? She looked painfully down at her unconscious sister and bit her lip, holding back sudden angry tears. What happened to you to make you hide by splitting yourself into over a hundred other people?!?!

Umber, having taken a bite out of the fruit, then looked up at Shallo with a suddenly sharp look on her face and evident in her speech. "What's wrong with my clothes?" After he suddenly walked off, she declined to follow him, instead taking a bite of the tchea, before throwing the half eaten fruit into the the open water where the messenger petpet had formerly appeared with a grimace of disgust.
With that, she turned, and went to find the Jetsam, finding him with a chest of extremely ugly clothing. "You have got to be kidding me." she grumbled with resignment.
-----------------------------
Drift looked at the map, tracing a finger across it, his stomach giving him a dreadful pang as he noticed his wedding ring and re-wondered yet again if his family was okay...
"It would be best to be in the innards of the central." he said, tracing a route, "The outskirts would be most subject to the elements. We need sources of supplies - mainly food, fuel, and water, though once it gets colder..."
He paused, realizing they might be here for... how long?, then shook his head as if to clear it.
"It would be best to locate by a store... a supermarket of some sort."

Ze froze as the killer spun around, looking at the pieces of plate that was now scattered on the floor around them. He relaxed when the Xweetok fainted though and nodded as he collected his compliments. The other Xweetok looked pale though, like something was still wrong. Ze cocked his head to the side and took a step forward, suggesting that he could still help her. Unfortuneately he couldn't give her words of confidence but he could be a shoulder to lean on.
---
My stomach grumbled loudly, it had been bugging me for the past few hours or so but I had gotten used to it. I let out a long sigh and pulled myself up and off of the wall I was leaning against to the metal bars as I heard feet coming down the hallway. I noticed the Jetsam, looking somewhat irritated, pass by and then heard him going through some items in the room next door. He came back with a trunk full of something and then looked up as if he was waiting for something. "Hey....." I said with a hoarse voice. I hadn't eaten or drank anything for the past 24 hours or so. It was also extremely dusty in this part of the cave so my mouth was dry and coated with dirt. "Can you please give us something to drink... or eat.... anything?" I pleaded, my blue, once bright and spirited eyes, glazing over at him with a weak dullness.
